Savannah, discovered by Banner Records & Sid Bernstein (Beatles) Promoter

Savannah Knight

(London,England)

Savannah is the youngest child of five, and was born into a family with music in its heart. All of her siblings were able to sing, and her oldest brother, who was born blind, was blessed with the natural ability to also play musical instruments.

From the early age of 12, Savannah learned to express her vocal abilities while singing in her London church choir as well as performing in surrounding areas.

At 20, Savannah moved to New York City and temporarily stayed with her aunt living in the Bronx.  While in New York, she worked in a Harlem hair salon, which provided her a great opportunity to meet many different kinds of people. In the evenings, Savannah would spend much of her time in the recording studio laying down tracks and perfecting her talent.

After a few years, Savannah moved back to the UK and continued to perfect her craft for writing, drawing her inspiration from life’s journey. Savannah’s life experiences became her captivating song lyrics.

Savannah’s influences have been predominantly R&B, Soul, and Gospel, similar to special world known artists with similar heritages.  She is inspired by a myriad of musical icons such as Aretha Franklin, Donell Jones, Faith Evans, Whitney Houston, Kelly Price, and Chantelle Moore. Savannah’s original music is on the cutting edge like a sharp knife illustrating a uniqueness, all her own.

Savannah, under the direction of music industry veteran and CEO of Banner Records, John Anthony, has signed to the roster of this highly regarded Independent record label.

Banner Records is focused on resurrecting that great era of Philadelphia Soul.  This was one of the wishes of Anthony’s late label partner, Sid Bernstein, who passed away in 2013.  Requiring no introduction, Sid Bernstein brought us the Beatles, Rolling Stones, James Brown, The Rascals and many other successful artists through the years.  Sid’s son, Dylan Bernstein, another great music man, has joined the label and is now Asst. Vice President.

Savannah spends most of her time in the studio recording many of her upcoming releases which are produced by London producer John Thompson. Through Banner Records, Savannah Knight now has the opportunity to have her music and her God-given talent as a great vocalist and performer, delivered to radio stations worldwide.  Savannah Knight, is where talent and greatness live together. This is Savannah’s third superb worldwide release…I Forgive You
